Southern European islands Corsica far outstripped by Mallorca
This French region is not listed in the top 10 most popular with holidaymakers this summer island destinations, based on rankings by Trivago site.
Spain, Italy and Greece have been favored by travelers this summer. * According to a study by the comparison Trivago hotel rates, the island of southern Europe which topped the searches performed by users -in 45 countries - on the site is Majorca (Spain, € 164 at night average). It is followed by Sicily (Italy) and Tenerife (Spain). Very popular tourism destinations that are almost always assured of sunshine and temperatures worthy of the season.
Five Spanish islands in the Balearic and Canary hoist themselves into the Top 10 With regard to Greek and Italian islands, they attract each year many travelers and occupy a large part of the ranking or respectively ten and six-. Croatia is also part of the list with Hvar and Krk.
